ELEGANT RIVERSIDE MATILDA BAY AND UWA WEDDING

Tammy & Ed's wedding day was simply beautiful. The two lovebirds tied the knot on a sunny Saturday in January in a lovely, elegant, intimate ceremony at Matilda Bay, followed by photo's at UWA. The day started with getting ready preparations at the Duxton Hotel, Tammy & her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning, I loved Tammy's gown, so elegant! Ed & his boys were getting ready on a separate floor and certainly looked sharp once they were suited up (check out Ed's airplane cufflinks). Matilda Bay is such a picturesque backdrop for a ceremony and this couple's vows were truly beautiful, and involved a unique ring warming tradition, which means passing the rings around to all of your guests, giving your loved ones the chance to hold and empart on your wedding bands a blessing for your marriage...how lovely! After the ceremony we headed to the grounds of UWA with the bridal party for some photos...I love all of the architecture and archways there. Once back at Matilda Bay the bride & groom made their entrance onto the outdoor dancefloor for their first dance as husband & wife, definitely a special moment with the Swan River in the background. As Ed is a pilot, there were some wonderful appropriate details at the reception such as the Model Catalina Plane with their names printed on, airplane placecard holders and incorporating the airplane safety props into the MC's speech.
