Boy what celebration...this was one fun bridal crew, so much laughter throughout the entire day.
Their ceremony was at Baldivis Farm Stay/Country Charm Weddings with Celebrant Holly (Celebrations with Holly) weaving their love story so beautifully before coming back down the aisle to a flurry of confetti and cheering. It was definitely nothing but good vibes all day and I love the way they were totally themselves, from the boys Pokemon socks to the tequila shots combined with a comprehensive lolly selection post ceremony.
After making our way around the grounds for the wedding crew photo session - again, so much laughter (the tequila shots may have helped), they entered the open barn reception, complete with outdoor festoon lighting & fire pit. I have to admit the speeches are probably some of the best I have heard (and that is saying something)...groomsmen, you nailed it, both hilarious and heartfelt.
After speeches, the newlyweds snuck outside and in a quiet spot read each others personal vows so they could soak them in...so incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend as a way of grabbing some moments just to yourselves on a wedding day which flys by so quickly.
Leonie was a bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed about a year ago (Jess & Darrell) and Jess was now in the bridesmaid role. So great seeing all of those lovely faces again. As a wedding photographer who has captured so many Perth weddings, I do really love a Country Charm Wedding day with its rustic open barn, byo catering options, pretty ceremony space and open fields. Couples who choose this venue seem to always be relaxed and easy going and these guys & their crew were no exception
